For the last house that we entered, we went inside a house with a pasilyo. Dati kasi there were two kinds of servants: the sagigilid na alipin and the namamahay na alipin. Yung mga sagigilid na alipin, sila yung mga walang properties na mga servants. They are also the ones who are being traded. The sagigilid servants can only stay in the pasilyo. They cannot enter the house. The namamahay servants are those servants who have properties. They can go inside the house and directly serve the masters.
Our tour guide also showed us how they iron their clothes before. You will go on top of this contraption then kekembot kembot ka para maplantsa yung clothes underneath.
